Whats presently in the making?
Presently, we are making "Skarloey the Old Faithful Engine" from the Series 4 of Thomas the tank engine and friends. This version of skarloey is to resemble his smaller scale model built for season 4 at 10mm scale while running on a 7mm scale wide chassis making quite a unique model, this ran on O gauge track due to the lack of the more accurate S Scale track at the time and so the model was built to a standard gauge profile. this model was used until the end of S12 occasionally making an appearance when used to interact with the larger gauge 1 engines of the fat controllers railway.
In the "Skarloey the Old Faithful Engine" pack, the locomotive will be accurately scaled to fit in with normal railworks narrow gauge stock.
The models in this pack consist of:
A standard S4 skarloey model with a brass dome, the second will be a model like the standard one but with blue lining instead of white and there is another standard skarloey model but leaning to one side like in the Story Four Little Engine's "Old Faithful".
Past work that has been completed.
Here we have the single road shed of the Skarloey Railway's Crovan's Gate along with its wooden barn on the side where skarloey was stored from 1945 - 1951. This version is based on the Dalby Illustrations from the book Four Little Engines which is sat on the raised wharf of the narrow gauge railway transfer point!
Whats next on the list?
Presently, we are working on getting the Season 4 model of Rusty the Little Diesel exported and scripted ready for testing in Railworks!
Once Rusty has been completed, we are going to be preparing Skarloeys Season 4 model ready for export once the textuing has been complete.
